What is Rockcastle County Adult Education?
It
is a partnership between the Rockcastle County Schools, Rockcastle
Fiscal Court, Rockcastle Regional, Rockcastle Chamber of Commerce,
Rockcastle Development Board and local business and industry with
funds from the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
Education equals earning. Whether it’s finishing high
school, earning a GED, getting an Associates or four-year
Bachelor’s Degree, individuals with more education, make more money.
On average, individuals with a high school diploma or GED earn
$9,671 more a year in wages. In today’s job market, the more
you learn, the more you’ll earn.
What is Adult Education?
Adult Basic Education services in Rockcastle County
have been expanded to include adult basic education for students who
are working toward their GED and high school graduates who are
brushing up on basic skills before entering college and to help make
their transition to college a smooth and successful one.
